Cookies and local storage

Two things store data in your browser here: the part that signs you in, and — only if you agree — analytics.

Strictly necessary

Present whether or not you accept analytics. Without these you cannot stay signed in, so there is no meaningful choice to offer and no consent required.

• Session cookies (Supabase Auth) — keep you signed in between page loads. Removed when you sign out.
• Your consent choice — stored as a local-storage entry named aiorbit-cookies-accepted, not as a cookie. It exists so the banner stops asking once you have answered.

Analytics — only after you press Accept

We use PostHog to count page views and see which features are used. The analytics code is downloaded at the moment you accept, and not before: if you press Decline, or close the banner without choosing, the script is never fetched and no analytics request is made. There is no pre-consent tracking to opt out of afterwards.

If you do accept, PostHog stores its own cookies and local-storage entries in your browser to recognise a returning visitor. PostHog is currently hosted in its United States region, so accepting also means that usage data is transferred to the US. Declining costs you nothing — every feature of the product works either way.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no data brokers, and no affiliate networks. AI Orbit is paid for by subscriptions, so there is nothing here that would be monetised by tracking you.

Changing your mind

Clear this site’s cookies and site data in your browser settings — the consent choice is in local storage, so clearing cookies alone may not remove it. The banner then appears again on your next visit and you can answer differently.
